Update: Entry Form now available on the Downloads / Forms page.
Super One’s season warm up event will be held at PF International on 8-9th March for all classes except KZ1, including the MiniMax and Junior Max Rotax Academy with pooled engines. Entries for the Academy class are coming in fast for the 2014 season and several of those have inquired if they could race at the S1 Winter Cup at PFI. The good news is that JAG Engineering have agreed to provide pooled engines and separate trophies swill be awarded for drivers in MiniMax and Junior Max who are using the pooled engines.
Payment terms for the Academy are slightly different to the rest of the Super One classes. A deposit of £1000 is required on registration followed by stage payments through the season. Where space permits it will be possible for drivers to compete as a guest at individual meetings, so there is no need for these guys to commit to the whole season.
There should be no confusion over the cost of the Academy series. All registration and Entry fees, all dry race tyres, 2 sets of rain tyres, all fuel/race oil and a fresh pooled engine complete with all accessories are provided for the full season of 6 meetings for the sum of £5000 inclusive of VAT, quite a bargain price! The only extra might be for the optional Friday practice fee.
The Academy proper kicks off at Shenington on 29/30 March with further meetings at Rowrah, Glan y Gors, Larkhall, Rissington and PFI – see calendar on https://superoneseries.com . Trophies and prizes will be awarded at each of these meetings and a champion chosen from the results of the last Grand Final at PF International, but note that to be eligible a driver must have competed in a minimum of five meetings. The minimum licence grade for the Academy is National B (not novice).
