TKM BT82 Rule Clarifications

Tal-Ko Racing, controllers of the Formula TKM classes, have issued a clarification to regulations concerning two items which takes effect immediately:

TAG engines – the clarification makes it clear that at all times a fully operational starter system must be in use and if required must be demonstrated to officials as operating both before and after being on track. Use of an outboard starter is also permitted as a back-up but not as a replacement.

Exhausts – for all engines it is underlined that while the exhaust may be rubbed down externally to clean, excessive removal of material will be classed as a breach of regulations which expressly forbid the removal of material.

Both of these clarifications take effect immediately and are attached  and also available for full view on the website
